We always try and take our time when trying out new products so we can really analyse the smell, taste and overall effect of them on our system. Wiltshire Chilli Farm’s Habanero Gold Chilli Jam is one that we thought could either be a real winner or an absolute failure as this is what usually happens with Habanero chilli based jams.

The aroma exuding from the chilli jam quickly convinced us that we were in for a treat, a feeling that was soon confirmed when we let the sweet and hot concoction melt on our tongues. A bit of a warning: don’t be overly cocky and think that this is a chilli jam you can have on its own by the spoonful as this is definitely not true despite our numerous attempts! The tip of the tongue tingles as soon as you ingest the chilli jam while the rest of your mouth is taken over by the sweetness and delightful taste of apricots mixed in with the delectable habanero chilli pepper. The result? Instant delight followed by an excruciating craving for more!

This is a hot chilli jam that wins on all accounts and we are especially bowled over by it as we know how difficult it is to get a good result when it comes to habanero based products.
